The Barn Dinner
2026
Gstaad
Concept & Production
For the Design Roundtable Retreat, a four-day gathering created in collaboration with Motra’s Table and vetsak, a chalet in the Swiss Alps was transformed into an intimate setting for exchange, inspiration, and connection within the international design community. The retreat brought together a curated group of interior designers, architects, collectors, and creative practitioners.
The chalet was fully furnished with vetsak sofas, turning the space into an immersive expression of the brand and creating a consistent visual identity throughout the retreat. The programme combined design, art, local culture, culinary traditions, and wellbeing through a carefully curated series of experiences.
Guests were invited to a private visit of the Gagosian Gallery in Gstaad, a traditional Swiss paper-cutting workshop, and a range of culinary experiences, from intimate chalet dinners and alpine picnics to fondue and a dinner in a local barn. Yoga and moments of relaxation complemented the programme, creating a balance between cultural discovery, conversation, and time to unwind.
The result was an immersive gathering that brought together design, art, hospitality, and alpine culture, with vetsak’s approach to contemporary living woven throughout the experience.
Scope: Concept development & production in collaboration with Motra’s Table and vetsak, retreat concept, programme curation, creative direction, partnership management, guest experience.
